Disclaimer

I only post my work under either my legal name, Devan Healy, OR 3rd Rock Designs, mainly on my Instagram @3rdrockdesigns, and here on my website www.3rdrockdesigns.com

I’m aware of bots and impersonators re-posting my work in Facebook groups, Pinterest, and many other places across the internet. My images have been stolen hundreds of times. I do not have any affiliation with the tedoo app or any other websites or apps.

You may have seen this image or other similar ones in a random crochet Facebook group posted by a random person, and you may have seen it dozens of times posted by different people all with the a caption that makes it sound like the person who posted it is the person who made it. A lot of the time there are links to external apps or websites.

The reality is I made and posted this hook in 2021, it was the first crochet hook I ever made. I posted it to reddit and instagram, and it hit the front page of reddit and was shared tens of thousands of times. Bots and impersonators target posts like this because they know it gets good engagement.

They do all this because my images get thousands of reactions and bring traction to whatever website or app they are pushing. They never credit me.

PLEASE do not click links from any posts that use my crochet hook images. Their intentions are unknown, they do this to a lot of creators whose images gain traction and clicks, probably for data collection or scamming, whatever it is; it isn’t good.
